Koroli is the only child of a London-based business tycoon, who has no interest in entrepreneurship and wants to settle down with a man and be a mother. She teaches English at the British Council in New Delhi. Sumit is a typical Lajpat Nagar 'launda', who wants to make it big as an actor in Bollywood. He works as a star trainer at a local gym. They meet each other as a teacher and student at the British Council, and later at a nightclub. They grow close to each other, but face many ups and downs in their relationship.
The other characters in the movie are Prashant (Abhilash Thapliyal), Sumit's best friend; Ayesha Kumar (Nidhi Singh), Koroli's best friend; Shumi (Srishti Shrivastava), Sumit's ex-girlfriend; Geetika (Ayesha Kaduskar), Koroli's student; Jai Singh Rathore (Santosh Barmola), Koroli's fiancé; and Mr. Nair (Krishan Tandon), Koroli's father.
