The Cellarest’s Kismet

What the lads at this newer West Asheville brewery are calling an Imperial Farm ale strikes me as a dangerously drinkable offering. It does not drink like 7.4% abv. This wild cherry wood aged ale utilizes some tannin from the cherry wood, a touch of acidity and slight funk from the wild yeast and the punchy fruit from the Citra hops to impart a harmonious marriage. Great citrusy qualities throughout the beer make this one a special one for any occasion with or without a disco ball.

Cheers!
